October at Usability24/7

What an interesting month October turned out to be. Having only just moved into our new office space we moved again, into a larger office that is bigger and better in every way. It shows that WeWork really is a very flexible office solution and we really like it here - and that isn't the free beer talking!

Of course there was work to do as well and October seemed to be a month for big things. A great deal of our work involves operating as part of an agile team delivering 3 to 8 days engagements. These tend to be agile testing (3 days, brief, test, report) or rapid iterative prototype testing where we create the prototype for the client from flat designs or similar. That means we can normally run multiple start to finish in a month.

In October though, we saw more big projects coming in, involving large scale research for major structural website changes and exploratory proposition research. Included in this was the start of some ethnographic research with mobile users about how they interact with offers and adverts. There was even a diary research project kicked off. These type of projects give the team something to get their teeth into and are always welcome.

Finally, we have started to plan our first event, a breakfast briefing about user research in China. We hope to schedule it for early in the new year and one of our clients has agreed to speak so we are really excited about it. Look out for more about that soon and we will be sharing video for those who can't attend.

Thanks for reading.
