Terry and the Zydeco Bad Boys

… They recently performed on the Zydeco Stage at this year's Bayou Festival, and now they're coming back to Long Beach.

The band plays a traditional style of Zydeco music with its foundation in Creole La La Music. To keep tradition alive, Terry sings many songs in Creole French, and has written many of his own compositions.

... and, the group’s name notwithstanding, these "Bad Boys" are all genuinely nice guys.

Terry Domingue

Founded in 2001, and hailing from Duson, Louisiana, the band is led by accordion player Terry Domingue. They play some of the most interesting contemporary Zydeco around, both highly innovative and deeply respectful of tradition.
