If we want to understand the particulars of our reality, we must understand the way we conduct our daily relationship with the hours. -David Whyte

Dear Limitless Braveheart,

Planning as journaling and art [doodles, collage, moon cycles and contemplative photography] has guided me through many a life-altering challenge.

I am writing to you today from a space of fruition to introduce the basic features and support of Right Brain Planner™ for 2017.

★  When you begin to establish a regular practice, you are simultaneously creating a foundation to build on. This facilitates a mindset of self-compassion and a safe environment for you to begin mapping your way in the direction of your wildest dreams.

Without creative systems we live in a constant, reactionary state. Such a state is exhausting and only allows minimal space for creativity and personal growth.

When sequential tasks and repetitive routines are noted, scheduled and honored, our time and energy are maximized: allowing space for new choices + new studies & self-directed education.

 Today's moon phase: first quarter.

As we view the moon from Earth, the illuminated fraction is at 47% and growing larger. The moon is a celestial visual of progression, currently at a half-way mark of waxing — with illumination increasing.

★  If your current life phase could be represented by one of the moon phases, what phase would you be at?

  New [grounding; beginnings]

  Quarter [half-way marks]

  Full [illuminated; fruition]

★  Where to you want to go from here?
  • Will you trust yourself to stay the course? Because {your} dreams are {yours} to live ...
  • You will know as you go, Braveheart. Even when your mind races with thoughts otherwise.

Life is a process of becoming, a combination of states we have to go through. Where people fail is that they wish to elect a state and remain in it. This is a kind of death. -Anaïs Nin

★  How will you map out your ideas, thoughts and feelings?
  • What tools will facilitate a creative record of your living + your Next?
  • In what ways will you visually process and act upon what you envision?

We each speak our own language by which we define our-selves via our compilations of a creative record — tangible and intangible. We have many “selves” and fulfill many roles during our lifetime, each one building upon the other.

A creative planning process is not as much about planning as it is about allowing space to abide gently with the feelings and thoughts of the day, as well as the images, words and colors that comfort and provide for creative expression.
