A Young Ambasssdor with The Dream Factory has been nominated for a Pride of Essex Award.

She has developed superventrical tachycardia and also has narrowing arteries as well scoliosis of the spine.

Nadine said: "Since The Dream Factory granted Honey's sister, Hope, a dream to own a Hot Tub Honey has wanted to give something back to the charity and help other children get there dreams."

Over the past two years Honey has raised over £4,000.

Nadine said: "Her first fundraising event was a sponsored walk to school. She has gone on to organise raffles and auctions and has even had a fundraising stall at the Epping Town Show and Barleylands Country Show last year."

Nadine added: "She puts The Dream factory collection pots in our local shops and has even managed to get a collection box in a shop in Westfields shopping centre.

"She goes into shops and asks if they would kindly donate items for The Dream Factory and thanks to the donations she put together two large Christmas sacks of toys last year for The Dream Factory Christmas party."

Nadine added: "I am extremely proud of Honey, she really is a kind-hearted little girl.

"I heard about the Pride of Essex awards and entered her for the Child of Courage award.
She has now been invited to the presentation evening on November 22 when she will find out if she is the winner."

Honey said: "I am very excited to be up for an award. I love fundraising for The Dream Factory to help grant sick children their dreams.

"I hope that by being up for this award I will create a lot more awareness about the wonderful Dream Factory and will continue to help grant lots more dreams."

The Dream Factory founder Avril Mills, who launched the charity following the death of her son, Oliver, from leukaemia, said: "I'm delighted Honey's fundraising efforts and continued support for The Dream Factory has been recognised with her being shortlisted for an award.

"I can't want to accompany her and her family to the awards ceremony.

"She has been a devoted supporter raising thousands of pounds which have enabled us to make many dreams come true, She is a real role model to other young people."
