The next full Moon occurs on November 14, and this one has the distinction of nearly coinciding with its closest approach in its monthly orbit, as it does several times a year. Whatever you'd like to call it, a full Moon is an impressive sight and an excellent reason to look up.
Upcoming Kingman Observatory Events
The next Skywatch events will be on the evenings of November 25 and 26 between 7 and 8.
Please park at the Andrews Trails parking lot, which is located on the west side of Campbell Drive some ways before Timber Ridge Manor. Kingman Observatory is a 5-7 minute walk from that parking lot.
