Annual Meeting this Thursday

Lakeshore Homes Association’s Annual Meeting is this Thursday, November 10th. Come to Crocker Highlands School auditorium at 7:00pm to visit with your neighbors - the meeting will start at 7:30.

We're excited to have both Sabrina Landreth, Oakland’s City Administrator, and District 2 City Councilmember Abel Guillen return as our guest speakers.

Tuesday is Election Day
Find your polling place and information about state and local ballot measures at the League of Women Voters. Get info on candidates, measures, and who supports them.

The LHA office is not a polling location.

Please Donate
As we head into this season of giving, please consider donating blood and blood platelets at the American Red Cross. Platelets are the cells in blood that help form clots and stop bleeding, essential for patients fighting cancer and other chronic diseases. Because platelets have a shelf life of only 5 days, there is always a need for more donations.

One of our neighbors, Meg Zwieback, is in need of platelets and when you donate at an American Red Cross site or drive, you can tell the receptionist that you are donating for her. The Red Cross will track the number of donations made in Meg’s name.

Meg authorized LHA to use her name and encourages all to donate blood – a single blood donation helps up to 3 patients.
