St. Joseph the Worker offers the following services to individuals looking for work:
  • A job developer to help you create a customized job searching plan with job leads for the industry you are looking for
  • Transportation assistance to help you with your job search and employment
  • Financial assistance with uniform requirements, tools, or other work essentials once employment is secured and verified
If you have a job, and are in need of resources to begin work, please have verification of your employment ready. This includes a letter of hire or a paystub. If you need additional resources, you will need to provide verification from the employer for those items as well.

  • Where to find more information.

Arizona Angel Initiative

ARE YOU ADDICTED TO DRUGS?
The Arizona Angel Initiative is a pilot program that allows citizens to walk into a police precinct, turn in their drugs, and request treatment without fear of arrest.
 
Who Does this Help?
Men, women, and mothers with children seeking help from addiction. Fathers with children will be considered when appropriate resources are in place.
  • Angels will:
    • Provide an evaluation and find an appropriate recovery center;
    • Educate participants on solution pathways to break the cycle of addiction;
    • Lead classes and groups to build life skills and overcome obstacles to recovery;
    • Monitor the participants care and connect them with services;
    • Follow-up and provide aftercare support; and
    • Find child care while parents work on their journey to recovery.
