ACLS Grant Program
ACLS invites applications for the Grant Program, made possible by the generous assistance of The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. This program supports digitally based research projects in all disciplines of the humanities and related social sciences with grants up to $125,000. Read more here.
Mini-Conference on Population and Incarceration
The mini-conference on Population and Incarceration will be held Monday, December 12, from 12-5PM. Speakers include (but not limited to) Justin McCrary (Law), David Harding (Sociology), Erin Kerrison (Social Welfare), Sandra Smith (Sociology), and Heather Harris (a postdoc working with David Harding). The event begins with a buffet lunch at noon. Attendance is limited so sign up now using Eventbrite!

Drew Hart is a D-Lab consultant and a PhD student in Environmental Science, Policy and Management (ESPM). He studies ecological, landscape, and conservation genomics. His academic background is in ecology (B.S.) and conservation biology (M.S.), including a lot of research computing and considerable environmental policy coursework. Outside academia, he has worked in field biology, conservation, community development, sustainable agriculture, and education.
