11/15 - Dine and Donate. This month's Dine and Donate is at Chipotle at Coddingtown. Show up between 4pm and 9pm present this flyer, enjoy your meal, and we'll receive 50% percent of your total bill. This is a fun and delicious way to help support the school and get out of the house for an evening.

Mike’s Bikes has been a long time advocate for youth cycling. We started working with SRTS four years ago along side with several other bike shops in Sonoma County. Last year during a grant restructure SRTS was forced to partner with one bike shop to provide the bike safety checks for all the bike rodeos for two calendar years. Mike’s Bikes is the only bike shop in Sonoma County with the resources to provide this service, so we jumped on board. We have also been a sponsor of the NorCal High School Mountain Biking League (also based in Sonoma) for 15 years since it’s inception. We are a true advocate of getting more kids on bikes. I’ve been wanting to put together a video to highlight the success of SRTS while showing our viewers Mike’s Bikes’ involvement. The focus of this video will be on the bike rodeos and how the kids benefit from the curriculum.

Miscellaneous Announcements:

On 11/3 we started assigned seating at lunch by classrooms. This decision was made with teacher input and was past practice. There has been a growing concern about students playing instead of eating and not taking care of their trash when they leave the lunch area. Noon Supervisors will inform teachers daily as to how their classes did at lunch time in regards to cleaning up. This gives the teacher the ability to follow with praise or address the mess that was left with their students.

We know that parents may be interested in finding new vendors for school pics. We are looking for people to do research on possible vendors for next year.
If you are interested, please email us at president@proctorterracepta.org and we'll give you the criteria, so we can compare apples with apples.

Proctor Terrace teachers have created Amazon.com wishlists to make it easier for parents to directly support their children’s classrooms and school. Each teacher can choose items and supplies that would make a difference in their classrooms, parents can easily purchase the exact items the teachers want, and Amazon ships and keeps track of it all to avoid duplicate purchases. If you do not see your teacher on the list, please ask them to create one.
