If a shared experience speaks to you more, and you don't need one more thing (!) cluttering your home, consider buying an experience gift. See the "live theater" sidebar for some local live entertainment options. You can also stop by the front desk and purchase a gift certificate good toward any class, event or party. Perfect for that friend who has been meaning to try something new and fun!
You can also stop inside Dance 2-Tu, Dance 1's in-store boutique. For the holidays, we've got great stocking stuffers like jewelry and accessories, and also Dance 1 apparel, dance bags and dance wear for kids and adults. (Gift certificates are also good toward merchandise from Dance 2-Tu).

Parents Night Out
Drop your kids off Saturday, December 17th at Dance 1 and enjoy some much needed time off. Your children will be entertained with games, movies, snacks, dress up, and DANCING! What will you do?

Winter Show Updates
We are looking forward to showcasing our dedicated dancers in just a few short weeks. Please support your dancer by making sure they practice their dance at home. Then, invite your friends and family to celebrate your dancer and their wonderful accomplishment!
When: Sunday, December 11th.
Times: 12:00 (11:00 call) and 3:00 (2:00 call)
Where: Redondo Union High School
Tickets: Available now online or at the front desk
Adults (13+): $18.00 / Children (3-12): $10
At the door: Adults: $23 / Children (3-12): $15

Things to know:
- Practice! Choreography for combo classes are on the Dance 1 YouTube channel. Search: Dance1RedondoBeach (no spaces). For leveled classes, parents will be invited in to record choreography at the end of class. Please bring something with which to record. Practicing at home makes a big difference!
- Volunteer: If you have not volunteered to work the Winter Show and would like to, please sign up on the bulletin board, or email the front desk. To make for a smooth running show and to keep the show on time, our volunteers are so important!
- Allow extra time on show day. It often takes longer than you think to do dress, hair and make up for the show, park, check in, etc. Please factor in some extra time. See our ballet bun tutorials if you need a refresher on hair.
- Shoes: please do not wear your dance shoes to or from the show! Change into your shoes once you arrive in the theater.
- Enjoy the show!

- Cast Party- December 2nd 6:00 – 8:00 pm, ages 5+ for those signed up at the studio.
- Portrait Day- December 4th at Dance 1
- Dress Rehearsal- December 10th at Dance 1. Level I and above will be called to this rehearsal (no toddler or combo classes). See the line-up here. New this year: Dance 1 has teamed up with Snax (just across the street) to bring you an upgraded dress rehearsal experience! More details to follow.
- Flower Sale- Going on now. Cash only. Proceeds benefit RBAC.
