Have you heard about our Children's Sibling Group?

It is your chance to meet other brothers and sisters who really understand how having a sibling with a disability is UNIQUE.

Participants between the ages of 6 and 14 years old will be grouped by age. Both groups will meet at the same time and place, making drop off and pick a breeze for parents.

We still have space for one more child in the 6-8 year old group and five spaces in the 12-14 year old group. Our 9-11 year old group is at capacity!

Holiday Food Drive

We invite you to join us collecting non-perishable food items for families across the Ottawa area. Please drop off your donations at our offices by November 30th. We'll be presenting the food collected live on air at CTV Morning Live on December 1st (6:00-10:00 am). 

Faces of Citizen Advocacy

This monthly series features some of the people of Citizen Advocacy. It could be a match, an Advocate, a Friend, Lifetime Network member, a committee member, staff member, someone who attends Walking in My Shoes or the Children's Sibling Group.

Our goal is to introduce you to different members of our community. We need your help! Please let us know of the fun things you are doing or why your match is important to you or the impact one of our programs has on your life. Don't worry about your writing skills - we can help you put together a brief story.
