Deck the Halls Sunday Nov. 20
On Sunday, Nov. 20, we will “Deck the Halls” from 4:30-6:30 PM, so come bring your family and a crock pot of soup to share.
Praise Kids will rehearse at 4:30 PM and when they are done will have the opportunity to make a Christmas craft and to pack a Christmas treat for our BackPack Buddies at Vincent Elementary School. Grown-ups and youth will work on decorating the sanctuary, narthex, and other spaces for Advent and Christmas.
At 6:00 PM we will share a meal of soup (with cornbread and dessert provided by the church) and the joy of experiencing the coming of Advent together.
Make plans now to be a part of this special day!

Children's Christmas Program Dec. 4
Hey kids...there is still time to be a part of this fun Christmas musical for children age 4k through 5th grade. We will present The Christmas Present after worship on December 4. We will have special rehearsals for the next 2 weeks, make sure to join us,Sunday, November 20 from 4:30-5:30 and Sunday, November 28 from 4:00-5:00 (we will not have snack supper on the 28). Our dress rehearsal will be Saturday, December 3 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am.

FCC Car Decals Available
We now have First Christian Church car decals available to anyone who would like to help spread the word about FCC in our community. You can pick up a sticker in the church office during the week, or in the narthex on Sundays. Thanks to a generous gift, there is no charge to you. Enjoy!

TUESDAY MORNING LADIES BIBLE STUDY
The Ladies Bible Study will not meet on Tuesday, Nov. 22. We will next meet on Tuesday, Nov. 29 when we shall discuss Chapter 12 (September) of A Year of Biblical Womanhood by Rachel Held Evans. We will meet in the Farkas Room at 10 AM for study, fellowship, and service. Each week we fill our Backpack Buddy Bags for Vincent Elementary students and spend time in discussion. We would love for you to join us!

Help Tim & Tom Turkey
Grow Some Feathers!
The Adventure Nook will be collecting non-perishable food items November 1-17. The students will receive a feather for each item they donate. They will get to place feathers on our turkeys that will be displayed on the gym wall. We will be donating all the food to Oak Mountain Missions.

Our students are excited about the opportunity to spend time together and grow in their faith as they learn to follow Jesus more fully. And we all know it just wouldn't be the same without food, right? We would appreciate it if you would consider signing up for a meal one week.
