ARE YOU A B- STUDENT?

A 4-YEAR COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY IS NOT OUT OF REACH!!!

Most of California's private colleges and universities have no minimum GPA requirements and, therefore, have greater flexibility in their admissions processes. Some of those that B- students might want to look into include the following:
Remember that the GPA is only one element that colleges look at in the decision-making process.  You will increase your odds of getting into any school by strengthening the other parts of your application.  A lower than average GPA may be offset by high test scores, character traits, extenuating circumstances, extracurricular activities, or a special talent/ability.

HELP FUND THIS PROJECT & FEED THE HUNGRY AT THE SAME TIME!
A NEW DONOR'S CHOOSE PROJECT
FROM MS. KHACHTURIAN

Help Ms. K fund this Cultural Hand Design Project.  Her students will learn about henna, a multi-branched flowering plant that also produces a dye for skin, hair, fingernails, and fabric, the origin of it, and its uses. Additionally, they will learn about other cultures and how henna designs defer in various cultures such as Indian, Arabic, Pakistani, Persian, and North African cultures. They will then apply what they have learned to create a cast of their own hand (working in partners and switching roles) and creating a henna design influenced by the culture of their choice to apply on their sculpture (using tempera paint) to express what they have learned about the design in 3D.

This project will raise funds for plaster strips, foam boards, paint, xacto, and brushes to create a three-dimensional Henna Design Sculpture.
