First Don Bachardy Fellow Announced
The Christopher Isherwood Foundation is delighted to announce that the first Don Bachardy Fellowship has been awarded to American artist Nicholas Wilson. Wilson, who graduated from Yale University in 2016 with a degree in fine art, will attend London’s Royal Drawing School for three months next year, studying under a faculty of distinguished artists. Primarily a painter, Wilson is interested in exploring issues of contemporary life through his work.
A Date for Your Diary
The second Isherwood-Bachardy Lecture, to be delivered by sculptor and author Matthew Spender, will be held at the Huntington Library on September 25th 2017. Ticket reservations can be made nearer the time.
