Before the Island House Invitational Triathlon, I had a nice chat with Mirinda Carfrae and Timothy O'Donnell in the Bahamas. Mirinda and Timothy talked about their season, including their performances at this year's Ironman World Championship, and talked about some of the races they'd like to do next year.

Gerry Rodrigues from Tower 26 is simply one of the best swim coaches around for triathletes at all levels. For someone who grew up swimming in Trinidad, you can tell that Gerry is still out there following his passion.

During Ironman Week in Kona, a panel of power meter experts discussed the state of the art in using power meters for running and triathlon. Three-time Ironman World Champion Craig Alexander's coach Frank Jakobsen talked about the use of power meters to help runners and triathletes improve their running and race performance.

Olympian Vicky Holland was just awarded the British Triathlon Female Elite Triathlete of the Year Award. You may remember her dramatic sprint finish in Rio for the bronze medal, against her friend, training partner, and roommate Non Stanford. It was a memorable year for Vicky, starting at the ITU Grand Final in Chicago when she made the Olympic team. Here's our finish line interview.
