Refreshments @ 6:30 p.m.
Our next PA General Meeting will be held on Tuesday this week.  Be sure to come and meet other parents over refreshments, share your experience of Stuy, and find any help that you might need.

Special Presentation - Programming at Stuy
This week, we have an important presentation about academic programming. Which subjects and classes can my child take? When can they take that AP exam? These are some of the many questions that this presentation will answer. There are a lot of opportunities at Stuy and it is sometimes hard to know how they can all be fitted into the time available. Come to this presentation and learn more. Our experts, Harvey Blumm, Guidance Department, APs Elizabeth Fong (Biology), James Johnson (Math & Computer Science) and Jennifer Suri (Social Studies) will explain the detail of programming to you.

Also on the agenda
  • Review and vote on whether to approve the PA proposed first-round funding for Stuy's clubs, publications, and other activities. The next round of funding will take place in February.
  • Announcement of our annual fund raising gala -  Spring Feast 2017, Friday, March 31, 2017

So much of what makes Stuyvesant special - extracurricular activities, academic enrichment, extended library hours, the Writing Center, translation resources, tutoring services, and so on - are very difficult to fund without your help. Your support makes these vital “extras” possible. Donate online by clicking the link above. Your child will ultimately be the beneficiary of whatever you can give.
