Monday 14th November
EAL: Joy absent.
PS : Sylvie absent, replaced by Marie Catrice. Sandro doing language support.
GS : Jaya absent, Essema and Nicolas Trameçon working with GS2, Clementine and Sabrina working with GS1. No MJ Kids today
3:30pm: CP & CM1 parent-teacher meetings start
No homework club after school
Tuesday 15th November
12:00pm: FS Children’s Choir practice.  Children who do not wish to participate in the choir have been removed from the selection. Please read the updated list of choir members here. Children who do not attend rehearsals will be removed from the selection.
3:30pm: PS, MS, GS & CE1 parent-teacher meetings start.
MJ Kids from yesterday rescheduled to today.
Wednesday 16th November
CE1: Valerie will be absent in the morning and replaced by Marie Catrice. Germain Priour will do support in class.
3:30pm: MS, GS, CP, CE1, CE2 & CM2 parent-teacher meetings start
Thursday 17th November
3:30pm: CE2 parent-teacher meetings start
3:30pm Cultural Thursday with Julie Shen: Baroque instruments for children aged 4+ see poster

12:00pm: FS Children’s choir rehearsal 

TES Reading Day: The French Section is excited to welcome a host of readers from the French-speaking community in Taipei including the director of the Alliance Française, representatives from the French Office, the French Chamber of Commerce, the Swiss Trade Office, Le Pigeonnier bookstore, the FS Management Council and the FSPA along with French speaking parents. Thank you to all who volunteered and to Marie and Fabienne for the organisation.

Subscription to French publications
The FS Management Council has decided to pay for an annual subscription to L'Ecole des Max, French publications, for every child in infants (PS, MS, GS) in order to encourage our students to develop an interest in literature from a young age. Students from cycles 2, 3 and 4 can also subscribe to the service by returning this form and payment by Friday 25 November.
 
FS Town Hall Meeting
The FS Town Hall Meeting (see the letter from the Head dated 4th November) will meet on Tuesday 6th December. All parents are invited to attend and discuss school issues with Jean-Yves Vesseau. To help us prepare for this meeting, please email any questions you may have or issues you want to discuss to FSsecretary@tes.tp.edu.tw or to the parent representative of your child’s class before Thursday 1st December.
 
TES Christmas Bazaar
If you are interested in having a stall at the TES Christmas Bazaar. Please see this letter from the PSC. Please return this form. Here are the bank details required.
PSC is looking for parents who are willing to run a food stall at X’mas Bazaar. More information, here.
The FSPA will be holding a Kids Workshop at the Christmas Bazaar. Please bring your kids along to make fun DIY art work with other kids! Flyer here
TES Christmas Bazaar Raffle tickets
Christmas Bazaar raffle tickets have been distributed to the students from PS to 3ème. Please be informed that all tickets and money must be returned to the FS office by 18 November 2016 and please don’t forget to write your name and/or phone number on the ticket stub. Canteen payment for semester 2
Check your inbox for an upcoming email from Kerry Nockholds concerning payment for the canteen for the second semester. Payment can only be made via the COS system and will no longer appear on the TES termly invoice.

Payment of exam fees
Parents will shortly receive invoices for the exam fees for the Brevet (3èmes) and BAC (1ères and Tles).
Castor programming challenge
First round will take place between the 7th and 18th of November, in technology class for collège students and Maths class for lycée students.
