The winner is...

16 pitchs and 3 awards

After an 8 months training, 16 business project leaders pitched in front of the sharp-eyed HEC Challenge+ jury chaired this year by Bertrand LEONARD, President of the HEC Foundation.

- 1st prize: Mikael Carmona and Alexandre Paleologue, MORPHOSENSE, a highly efficient SHM system based on both MEMS sensors network and data fusion in the domains of Civil Engineering, RailRoads, Maritime and Energy.
- 2nd prize: Hubert Bonnefond and Christophe Vasseur, INALVE, an innovative microalgae production process and new products for the feed market.
- 3rd prize: Olga Burchak, ENWIRES, high quality silicon nanowires in large quantities at affordable prices for research in nanoscience and technology.

Yunus calls for major businesses to join his movement to end wealth concentration
The 2006 Nobel Peace prize laureate, Professor Muhammad Yunus was a key figure at the Social Academia conference at HEC Paris campus that was held on November 9-10 2016. At the conference, the Bangladeshi civil society leader made vibrant calls for businesses worldwide to join in his efforts to universalize social business.
But how? In this exclusive interview, the 76-year-old opened up to HEC Communications editor Daniel Brown and students Victoria Reca and Daniel Park, on his vision, past experiences and aspirations for the future.

On Wednesday, November 9, the Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus, the former High Commissioner for Active Solidarity against Poverty, Martin Hirsch and Danone's CEO Emmanuel Faber, backed by top representatives from five multinationals, took part in the business school’s launch of the HEC Paris Movement for Social x Business Impact.

Balibart raised 400,000 euros to launch its new service, Balibart My Shop

Launched in September 2014, after one year of maturation at HEC Incubator, the platform Bailbart.com aims enabling thousands of creatives, illustrators, photographers, musicians, and entrepreneurs to sell products online without having to worry about Production and logistics. 
The co-founders, Adrien Salamon and Maxime Delmotte, are to protect and promote Balibart community creations and works. 
This first funding round will support the growth of Balibart My Shop, their new on-demand printing service!

Atos IT Challenge 2017

The Challenge for the 2017 edition focuses on blockchain. 
Organizers  are looking for participants to come up with an innovative application concept based on blockchain technologies that shows how the principle of secure, public ledgers can be used to disrupt conventional business models.
