Come along and join jelly & friends to celebrate The 12 Days of Christmas at Jacksons with Reading’s best makers, artists and designers.

make RDG is back at Jacksons Corner - once home to Reading’s iconic family department store and now a hub for creatives - on Wednesday November 30th – Sunday December 11th 2016, 11am – 6pm, 12 - 4pm on Sundays and late night shopping on a Thursday until 8pm

make RDG embraces the seasonal spirit with a host of festive activities & events, including:

a beautiful pop-up shop showcasing a curated selection of over 30 talented artists  and makers, exhibiting and selling an eclectic range of original artworks, ceramics, prints, photography, jewellery, independent books and textiles. Browse, shop and discover unique, handcrafted gifts for all. You can find a full list of makers here

new to make RDG this year, Pop-up Reading, Nomad Bakery and friends will be joining the festivities with their range of local produce both weekends to compliment the festive workshops, activities and crafty events for all ages.

the return of Reading’s most creative Santa experience, created in collaboration by Berzerk Productions and Spirited Events on Saturday 3^rd & Sunday 4^th and Saturday 10^th & Sunday 11^th December. Tickets are £10 each and the experience includes: Christmas crafts, cookie decorating with the crafty Elves, followed by  a visit to Santa’s grotto for games and story time with Santa himself. This year there will be new grotto surprises, a small gift and an option of a personal Santa selfie!

Following a morning 'Audience with Santa', in the afternoon there will be a special walk with Santa and Lantern Parade on Saturday 3^rd December at 4:45pm, in partnership with Reading Buses, rlab and Reading Year of Culture as part of Light Up Reading

an exhibition 'Unfinished Conversations' by the artists collective, The Engine Room , open Friday, Saturday and Sunday of both Make RDG weekends.

a host of festive workshops & events ranging from luxury wreath making with Sonning Flowers to children’s Christmas decorations, festive knit night with independent designer Marilla Walker, life drawing, late night shopping with mulled wine & hair styling by Electric Hair and more, led by jelly artists or participating makers and designers.
