The Every Monday Matters (EMM) team will walk alongside you through the journey of fully understanding the impact and potential of the You Matter™ Youth Programs. You will learn how and why this curriculum was created.

Introducing: Program Design and Delivery Beyond the Bell
This interactive session will have multiple opportunities for hands-on activities and networking. The AIR team will provide framing and practical uses for the 96 tools in the Beyond the Bell ® Toolkit. The AIR team will model staff development sessions for participants to learn and apply to their program needs. Participants will work together to put concepts into practice, network, and build on existing resources. Participants will be provided with a copy of the Beyond the Bell ® Toolkit as part of the pre-conference registration fee.

Expanded Learning Programs Grantee Orientation
The California Department of Education’s Expanded Learning Division will be hosting a Grantee Orientation at this year’s BOOST Conference. It will be an informative preconference session featuring action planning with your team and will cover topics such as Grants 101 and Beyond, Quality Standards: Because Quality Matters, (CQI)2 Continuous Quality Improvement in Action, and Federal Program Monitoring: Where Compliance Meets Quality. This orientation is meant for Grant/Fiscal Managers, Program Directors, Site Coordinators, and program partners of After School Education and Safety (ASES), 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC), and After School Safety and Enrichment for Teens (ASSETs) programs.
Tuesday, April 18, 2017 1:00pm-5:00pm (materials included). No cost to attend. Must receive California ASES, 21st CCLS, or ASSETS funding to attend or be a program partner.
