A Time for Thanks

Dear Friends,

As we approach Thanksgiving, we can and should be so thankful for the countless human beings whose lives and work are dedicated to making our world a better place.

As part of this thankfulness, I’d like to share our film “Holistic Life Foundation: breathing love into a community”, a 22-minute film about the Holistic Life Foundation’s work in the impoverished neighbor hoods of west Baltimore.

The main mission of Rosalia Films is to shed light on individuals who are doing such good work on a daily basis, often unrecognized by the wider world. It has been a true privilege to be able to observe and be inspired by these positive examples of our humanity.

Included in this are the three founders of the Holistic Life Foundation, brothers Ali and Atman Smith and Andres Gonzalez, as well as John Hunter, the creator of the World Peace Game and subject of our past film “World Peace and other 4th-Grade Achievements”, and Professor Andrew Kaufman, creator of the Books Behind Bars class at the University of Virginia which brings together university students with incarcerated youth through the study of Russian Literature. This will be featured in our upcoming film “Seats at the Table”.
