To Women Faculty, Residents, and Graduates of the UCSF General Surgery Residency Program:
Next May’s Naffziger meeting promises to be a particularly exciting one, as President Wen Shen’s overarching theme for the day is a celebration of surgical training and practice at UCSF: past, present, and future. I’m sure that you will all agree that the past few decades have seen a major increase in the number and influence of women in surgery.
With an eye to celebrating our progress and to identify additional opportunities to make a surgical career more appealing, fun, and rewarding for women, we invite you to attend a gathering of former, current, and future female surgeons at UCSF.
Date and Location
Thursday, May 18, from 6 – 8 p.m.
The Home of Dr. Shelley Marks (click here for Google map)
23 Presidio Avenue
San Francisco, CA 94115
Although designed primarily for women surgeons, partners of both genders are also invited. We hope that you will attend Naffziger Day on May 19 and our event the night before.
Hope to see you there!
