OCTOBER EVENT HIGHLIGHT

TOAST FOR HOPE

The 8th Annual Toast for Hope was a huge success! Toast for Hope took place on October 21st at the beautiful Drees Pavilion in Covington, KY. The evening included dinner, drinks, silent auction, and live auction. Delane Starliper from Impact 100 attended the event and presented WCC with the Impact 100 award. One of the most touching points of the evening was when Stephanie, a survivor of domestic violence, spoke to the group. Her story of survival was a poignant reflection of heartbreak and hope. In Stephanie's words, "I didn't have to do this on my own, I had the love and support of WCC. I was given hope and you believed in me when I didn't believe in myself. Without your help I wouldn't be standing here today. I feel lucky. Domestic violence was not the end for me, it was only my beginning."

A huge thanks to St. Elizabeth Healthcare for being the presenting sponsor of Toast for Hope! Thanks to all of those that supported the event through sponsorships, donations, attendance, silent auction items, and more! Because of your support and generosity, Toast for Hope raised $140,000 for Women's Crisis Center!
