It's been non-stop this autumn with six of our productions on the road (yes, six!). Perhaps you've seen us in London (North and South, Finchley and Greenwich) Cambridge, Poole, Lincoln, Nottingham, Dorchester and Halesworth? We can't wait to kick off 2017, we're particularly excited about the twelve new venues we're visiting in the spring.
In other news, we're moving! Our Georgian townhouse in the City is being redeveloped so we're moving to The Pill Box in Bethnal Green. We're planning an 'office warming' in their fantastic bar/restaurant in January for our Friends and Patrons so look out for an invitation, if you're a friend.
There's more information about our Spring 2017 touring plans and other news below. We hope to see you at a performance soon.

A warm welcome to our new trustees
We were thrilled to receive a huge number of applications to join our board of trustees recently.
We have appointed Amanda Ariss OBE and Joe McFadden. Amanda brings a wealth of knowledge in diversity and equality best practice and Joe, as Chief Technology Officer at the Royal Opera House, is perfectly placed to advise OperaUpClose on our digital and technological ambitions. Click here to find out more about Amanda and Joe and what our Artistic Director and Chair had to say about the appointments.

Our first creative learning programme for children has begun!
Our creative learning programme, built around our family opera Ulla's Odyssey, kicked off at Cambridge Junction this month. For the next year, we'll be delivering workshops for children aged 7-11 (Key Stage Two) exploring Greek Myths, environmental issues and an introduction to the themes of our children's opera, Ulla's Odyssey.

We are delighted that this month The Idlewild Trust have confirmed their support of our Trainee Producer Programme. This means that we are able to offer our paid internship in 2017, allowing a path into the arts for young producers with great potential. For more information about the programme, click here.
