2016 - A Year in Review

Season's greetings! It is our pleasure to wish you and your family the best of the Christmas season.
As the Christmas season approaches, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of our friends, customers, and associates for your continued business over the past years.
This year we saw record volumes of diaphragm and rotary meters come through our facility for service. Our staff worked diligently to keep our service times down and get your meters back to you as quickly as possible. Now we are caught up and using the "calm before the storm" of the 2017 seal period to clean house. The shop is looking pretty great inside so if you are in the area, we'd love you to pop in for a visit.
As many of you are aware, Barchard Engineering Ltd. was founded in 1975 by Frank Barchard. Since its inception, Barchard Engineering Ltd. has grown from 2 employees serving a few nearby municipalities to a team of over 20 highly trained professionals who serve a vast number of natural gas co-ops, utilities, and oil field sites throughout Alberta and Canada. We are pleased to announce that after 41 years in the natural gas industry, our company continues to grow. We know that a business can only be as strong and sustainable as the communities and businesses it serves. Without your continued support we could not have become a recognized, leading supplier and service provider in the natural gas industry.
While there have been many changes over the years in technology and regulations, there has been one thing that has never changed: our commitment to putting customers first with the very best in natural gas equipment supply, service and repair. Our business is a source of pride to our family and as we move into 2017 and beyond we will continue to deliver on our commitment. We also know we aren't infallible, so if anything is ever not up to your standards, please let us know what we need to do to make it right! We rely on your feedback to steer our course.
Once again, on behalf of the hard working employees of Barchard Engineering Ltd., please accept our sincere gratitude for your continued business. None of these things would be possible, nor would we have reason to exist, without you. Since 1975 we’ve had a continuous and successful working relationship with our gas measurement customers and we look forward to a long future working together.

It was great seeing everyone again at this year's Federation of Alberta Gas Co-op's Trade Fair.
Barchard Engineering Ltd. has been attending this trade show since its inception. We are continually impressed by the interest, support, and turnout at this event.
We were able to get all our front-end staff out to the booth, and it was great to have some face-to-face time with so many of our customers.
This year we saw a lot of interest in the Roots D800 meter and PTZ Corrector for B series meters, so we have some follow up information below:
