Kodiak Strong Invites Community Discussion on Health and Heritage
KANA is a proud supporter of the 2nd Annual Kodiak Strong event, taking place on December 3rd at the Kodiak College. This event presents an opportunity for the community to come together and share their ideas for improving the health and well-being of Kodiak residents.

The day begins with brainstorming and forming ideas and ends with voting by those attending the event, with the top two initiatives focused on in the next year. Facilitators will help the group get the ball rolling and identify a project champion, other community members or organizations to suggest for involvement, and to determine what success will look like for the project. Healthy Tomorrows will offer technical assistance throughout the event discussions and into project development. Both chosen initiatives will receive $2,000 in base funding to help the project launch.

The purpose of this event is to gather community members to invest and take pride in their home and their health.  Preregistration is required, please reserve your seat by calling 481-2424 or registering online here.
