This Barrel Reclaimer is a large mixing drum (5m diameter & over 30m long) that collects iron ore and other raw materials used in the steel making process.

The abrasive materials the barrel picks up wear away the steel inside which creates structural issues.

An initial trial plate was coated and inspected after 18 months. It was clear that CBX was the absolute best abrasion resistant product that the mill had ever tested.

4 years after coating the entire barrel, the layer of CBX is still looking great and is doing it's job to prolong the life of the barrel.
