Family Planning's focused mission targeting youth, Maori, Pasifika and low-income communities.

Dear Friend for Life

As New Zealand Family Planning celebrate 80 years of promoting the sexual revolution, they have released their strategic plan which shows they are on a very focused mission to decriminalise abortion and target specific communities within New Zealand and the Pacific with their so-called "sexual and reproductive health rights" agenda.

In the strategic plan (2016-2020), Family Planning explain how they will "eliminate service inequities and deliver sexual and reproductive health and rights in the areas of highest need."  They go on to reveal how they will "review and redesign... services to address barriers to access for Maori and other underserviced groups like Pasifika, Asian, low-income, rural and marginalised communities."

Family Planning already target schools with their graphic sex education programmes and school-based clinics.  They can also be found in close proximity to secondary schools around the country (often in walking distance) and in lower income areas.

Among other Island nations, Family Planning have a presence in Kiribati, where they seek to undermine the strong family and religious values which permeate this culture.  Kiribati's population was once mainly Catholic, but since Family Planning have arrived with their promotion of contraception, many have left the Church.

This is nothing new of course.  Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood in the United States and co-founder of the International Planned Parenthood Federation, to which New Zealand Family Planning is affiliated, was racist and believed that the poor were unfit to parent children.  In 1932 she wrote in her Birth Control Review that "birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race."

It shouldn't surprise anyone then that the American Planned Parenthood's current President Cecile Richards holds New Zealand Family Planning in such high esteem, saying "Family Planning offers confidential, non-judgmental care and works with people of any gender, age, nationality or sexual orientation...  They provide care no matter what, and that's how I know we're part of the same worldwide movement." (quoted in the Family Planning 2015/2016 Annual Report).

That's right folks - the same worldwide movement.  A movement which:

*  tells children that sexual experimentation is fine whether alone or with others of the same or different sex.
*  promotes an ideology which says that one's gender can be fluid and that young children - even pre-schoolers - are able to choose their gender and their parents should respect that choice.
*  celebrates promiscuity and makes personal pleasure an end in itself, removing commitment, marriage and responsibility from the picture.
*  says women must avoid having children at all costs, even if it means pumping chemicals into her body or inserting devices which will ultimately take the life of any child conceived and possibly cause her serious health concerns.
*  talks about abortion as "health care", sugar-coating the reality that it takes a human life in the most inhumane way and harms women - mentally, physically and spiritually.
*  thinks that it is morally permissible to harvest and sell the body parts of aborted children in order to make a profit.

Family Planning, who already have a revenue of $15 million a year (almost $12 million comes from the government), are keen to increase their profit.  They plan on doing this by collaborating with other sexual health groups which will present them with new funding opportunities.  They will then use their increased revenue to extend their work with young people, Maori, Pasifika, Asian and low-income communities.

They are already well on their way.  A recent conference held at Te Papa, Wellington, was hosted in conjunction with the New Zealand Sexual Health Society and the Abortion Providers Group Aotearoa New Zealand which will have provided them with ample opportunity to network and plan.

Eighty years on, Family Planning's true agenda is obvious.  It is time to expose Family Planning's agenda, which targets very specific groups within our community, and call on the government to withdraw their massive funding and put those resources into programmes which uphold marriage and the natural family.

Thank you for your support as we work to build a culture of life in New Zealand and beyond.

BREAKING:  Just as I was about to hit send, I see that Louisa Wall, champion of the culture of death, has tabled a Euthanasia Bill in parliament today.  This now means there are two private member's bills in the ballot, alongside the Health Select Committee's investigation into ending one's life.  Please pray that these efforts to legalise euthanasia and assisted suicide will be thwarted.

Yours in the service of life
