New Vacancy - Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School
The Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey, has a fellowship position available starting July 2017. 

This position is for a traditional 5+2 candidate. The candidate must be in good standing with their current training program, and at the completion of their general surgery program must be eligible to sit for their general surgery boards. 



Call for Abstracts - IAVS
The Introduction to Academic Vascular Surgery (IAVS) meeting will be held in Tampa, FL at the Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation (CAMLS), April 6-8, 2017.

The 3-day course consists of nationally recognized faculty members presenting information regarding vascular surgery and the role of academia and research, in addition to providing instruction for endovascular procedures in the Hybrid OR Surgical Simulation Suite at CAMLS.



2015 Trainee Advocacy Award Recipient Featured in Vascular Specialist
Dr. Jason K. Wagner, M.D, M.S., resident at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Heart and Vascular Institute, was the 2015 recipient of the SVS Vascular Surgery Trainee Advocacy Travel Scholarship.
