In these divided days, it is songwriters who are unique and essential among the tribe: songwriters are charged with noticing, understanding, and helping others understand. We find what needs examining and turn it in the light so that others might see themselves, someone else, or something else, as if for the first time.
Whatever your politics, we hope the community of The Songwriting School gives you the encouragement, support, opportunities, and mentorship to elevate your art and your voice in the brave, passionate, and compassionate expression of your truth.

December Free and Open Events will include an open forum with Music Attorney Ben McLane and a vocal technique event with LA vocal coach Michael Goodrich. Dates to be announced next week!
THE ROOTS songwriting intensive meets M-F 12-3pm 11/28-12/9 (the two weeks following Thanksgiving week). We have FOUR spots left for this small by design special late fall section.
