A Look at TRJ’s Instagram

Curt West of McMinnville, Oregon, transformed his Craigslist-find coupe into the '50s-style hot rod you see here in his home garage. We came across the chopped and channeled five-window at the L.A. Roadster Show earlier this year.
Although we publish four Rodder’s Journals every year, we always have a number of projects in the works. From studio photo shoots to new product development to event coverage from coast to coast, we’re constantly on the move.

It doesn’t matter where we are—we’re posting photos and videos to our Instagram nearly every day. Whether we’re bombing down back roads on a reliability run or digging through our archives, we’re excited to share snapshots from wherever we go.

So today we’ve picked a collection of images from here and there for your enjoyment. Still looking for more? Make sure to check out our full Instagram photo gallery here. If you’d like to get involved, tag your photos with #roddersjournal for a chance to be featured on our feed.

Cheers!

P.S. We’re also on Facebook here and Twitter here!
Once the Cacklefests wind down, spectators are invited to jump out on the track to see the front engined dragsters up close and personal. Here's the legendary "Howard Cams Rattler" at rest after the 25th annual California Hot Rod Reunion.
Jeff Ludwig of Ludwig's Custom Auto has been building high-quality rods and customs for the past two decades. We spotted his chopped, Pennsylvania-based '39 Ford at the 2016 Jalopyrama.
Ryan Reed builds cars to be driven and driven hard. Here he smokes the tires in Brian Williams' all-steel '32 three-window, which is powered by a nasty 427cid smallblock Chevy.
Lincoln-Zephyrs don't come around often, let alone those as nice as John "Rockabilly Jesus" Barnes' '38. We got to take a closer look at it during Joe Bailon's get together this fall.
Bob Robe's supercharged Hemi was showcased on one of our early posters and later made an appearance in the 2016 TRJ engine calendar. From the Moon valve covers to the four-port Hilborn, it has all the right mid-'60s touches.
Mox Miller first customized his '58 Impala in 1962 and it hasn't changed since. We featured the car along with Mox's dad's '58 Chevy pickup back in TRJ #32.
