MULTIPLY: QUALITY WORSHIP SERVICES
Hi, once again, HIM family! In the last message, I communicated about “quality life groups”. Let me now share about “quality worship services”. You know that we run worship services almost every week – all our family of churches around the world, we run services. Therefore again, I would like to encourage us to look into running “quality worship services”.
What do I mean? “Quality” starts right from the beginning when people enter into our church, or in some cases that I've heard, when people enter into our carpark. They even feel the presence of God when they start entering into our premises. When they enter the front door – our welcoming, our greetings, and the people that meet us – they need to be people that build the welcoming touch of God. As people enter into our services – whether we do prayer, or we do the presence of God or when we run praise and worship, ensure that the presence of God is there.
I've talked to various people in our churches around the world, and I asked them, “You’ve been here 5 years, 10 years, even 15 years! What causes you and draws you to come back again?” They said, “It is the presence of God”.
Therefore, as we run these services, as we run praise and worship, pray that the presence of God will touch the people.
As we preach the sermons, make our sermons relevant, make our sermons really build into people's life – that as they hear the sermons, they are ready for the next week, they are ready to face the world, they are ready to overcome the challenges that they face every day from Monday to Saturday before they come back to church again.
Church, we need to do “quality services”. Connect people right from the beginning to the end of the meeting, and into the weekday activities – our life groups, bonding, activities, sports etc. Quality services will build people up and will draw people back into our church again. Let's set a goal for ourselves that with such strong quality services, we will not lose anyone, but we will continue to really grow through “quality services”. God bless you all.
