Good morning!
Sorry for the late notice- I'll get to the points:
- Today is our 3rd Annual Local Meats Showcase! Today, on the farm from 3- 6 pm you can try free tastings of our duck and chicken plus Ben's Strong Earth pork and beef from our friends at Hoof Hearted Farm. We'll be around to answer your questions and offer cooking tips and recipes. Plus as always, you are welcome to walk the farm, see the animals and enjoy this fall day.
- In meat showcase spirit, today we have a one day 10% off sale on all whole duck, which should help you get in whole bird mood this season.
- After Thanksgiving, we will be done with our regular Tuesday and Friday farmstand as well as our showing Wednesday at the Blacksburg Farmers Market. So come out today, this coming Tuesday and Wednesday to stock up for your Thanksgiving and then we will all enjoy our breaks.
- After Thanksgiving you will be able to find us Saturday at the Blacksburg Farmers Market until Christmas. If you are in our winter meat share or winter veggie share, then you will get an email with the rundown before those start up in December.
- We have holiday gift cards! Come see me to pick out yours and send to that special someone (it's ok if it's you).
- We do still have one more fresh chicken day coming up on December 16th and so you will get a reminder about that in a couple weeks.
Also, be sure to look for our float in Blacksburg's Holiday Parade, Friday, December 2nd at 7 pm. It will be badass and you won't want to miss it!
In closing, we are thankful for you, our customers and supporting families! Without the conscious decision you make to go out of your way to buy the food we grow, we would not be able to keep doing the farming we love to do. We truly appreciate the support and encouragement you provide and welcome feedback to help us improve. Thanks again for all that you do!
