It's Fall at the Hall!
Well at least until the snow starts flying this weekend, but for right now, we are basking in the warmth of a sunny November day and gearing up
for a great weekend at the Hall!
Here's what's happening through November...

November 18th- Hey Mavis– Sensual and Innovative Roots Music. Americana band “Hey Mavis” is back at the G.A.R. Hall.

November 20th- Sisters in Song- Join us for a special night of song featuring Kristine Jackson, Becky Boyd and Rachel Brown, accompanied by Emma Shook  from the Cleveland Orchestra on violin. These ladies take it to a a higher level when they share songs, stories, laughs and sometimes some tears in a special night of music.

November 25th- Mo Mojo- –A hard driving, high energy, “Pardi-Gras” Band. The female fronted group features three-part harmonies, accordion, fiddle, guitar, rubboard, sax, trumpet, harp, bass, percussion, and drums. Songs are sung in English and French.
Mo’ Mojo takes Zydeco music and infuses it with Americana, Cajun, reggae, rock & roll, funk, R&B, and African and Latin rhythms.

November 19th- EMILY KEENER cd release party with back up band the Womacks- Ohio’s own EMILY KEENER is releasing her new record! Since her exciting journey into the Top 12 on NBC’s The Voice, she has been diligently writing and recording in an effort to capture the creative energy of this most transformative year.

Musicians Tony Schaffer, Noah Heyman, Haley Schaffer, Cory Webb, and Cory Boomer will be performing with Emily for this show. Join us!

November 23rd- The Mostly Blues Band- The Mostly Blues Band will be rocking it out the night before Thanksgiving on what has become one of the best nights of the year to head out and have some fun with family and friends before the eating of the bird the next day!! Come on down to the Hall and hear one of Akron’s favorite guitarist Mike Lenz, and the little lady with that great bid voice, Peggy Coyle, play some of your favorites.
This band is NOTHING BUT FUN!!!! Join us!

November 26th- The Gage Brothers– These two brothers and friends bring nothing but fun to the stage.  They broke onto the N.E. Ohio music scene roughly two years ago and people fell in love  with their upbeat, “folkin’ around” sound!  They’ll be bringing it back to the G.A.R. Hall stage over the Thanksgiving weekend.  This time they are planning to do a live recording of their show, so come be part of Gage Brothers history, you know you want to!
