Tower 6 construction expands revitalization along Sixth Street

There's an amazing transformation happening around the intersection of Sixth and Hamilton streets in Downtown Allentown. New merchants and eateries have popped up, the older portion of the ArtsWalk is getting a magnificent facelift and the new Community Parking Deck provides nearly 1,000 more spaces for visitors and local employees. Symbolic of the diverse and flourishing business community here is Tower 6, the game-changing 12-story Class A building offering businesses the chance to own their office space within the Neighborhood Improvement Zone (NIZ).
 
 

DESTINATION ARTS: Third Thursdays program launches

A new and exciting monthly event from the Hamilton District Main Street Program called DESTINATION ARTS: Third Thursdays will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month. Downtown Allentown’s arts and business communities have joined forces to create a unique and eclectic experience, including exhibitions, sales, classes, special menus and more.

Join the merriment at the Small Office Big Party on December 16

Whether your office consists of four people or 40, the Small Office Big Party at the Renaissance Allentown Hotel will be a great time for everyone. The Renaissance will provide a gourmet buffet dinner, cash bar and live music, all in the beautifully decorated Renaissance Ballroom overlooking downtown's Center Square.

Local veteran business owners part of area revitalization

National Veterans Small Business Week earlier this month, we profiled Jimmy Moyer and Mike Rosenfeld, two vets who are part of Downtown Allentown’s business community. Their stories are inspiration for others re-entering the workforce after serving our country. Read more.

New mural being installed on the Allentown ArtsWalk

Installation has begun for a colorful new mural on the public parking deck along the ArtsWalk at City Center. The creation is by Amber Art and Design of Philadelphia. The project was approved by the city’s Public Art Committee and made possible with support from City Center Lehigh Valley.

Celebrate Small Business Saturday with Jingle Bell Trail

A fantastically fun holiday event awaits you on Small Business Saturday (November 26, 2016), courtesy of the Hamilton District Main Street Program. Come out from 1 to 5 p.m. for the inaugural Jingle Bell Trail in Downtown Allentown, for an afternoon of cocktails, food pairings and shopping showcasing the vibrant new downtown.
