TOILET BLOCK AT SCHOOL
Billions of people worldwide who are without toilets. Resulting in the spread of disease, increase of diarrhea, and death.
THIS PAST SUMMER one of the projects Love a Village ( www.loveavillage.org) joined our Malawian friends in, was digging the foundation for a block of girls toilets at the Primary School in Luhomero. This building will provide greater opportunity for girls to attend school while they are menstruating. There will be a private section for them. Most girls stay home one week every month, decreasing their likelihood of ever finishing primary school. |
