"Little Dancer" and more

I have loved ballet for a long time. I first came across a version of Edgar Degas' sculpture "Little Dancer of Fourteen Years" in Louvre while on a school trip, and the memory stuck with me for some reason.

I realised that one of my previous designs could be altered to look similar to the outfit the statuette is wearing. I added some waist shaping and widened the neckline while experimenting with fabrics and dyeing:
I also tried my hand at some silk ribbon embroidery, which was an instant love affair:
... and I made a few brighter dresses, like this one:
I will be listing 8 of the embroidered tulle skirt dresses, 3 distressed cotton ones and 7 with regular cotton skirts. Then there are a couple of coats and a few "random" dresses; all in my Etsy shop on Tuesday November 22nd, 22:00 Oslo time.

The dresses are fitted on the regular Takara Blythe body BUT they also look fabulous on Pure Neemo S. I just tried, and I was positively surprised because I thought the wide neckline might threaten to fall off the shoulder, which was not the case at all. The dresses do not fit Licca bodies, though.
