Topic of the Week

The students of Grade II B showed us how to express how much we value someone through a presentation focused on “Sharing is Caring”.
The students of Grade I A presented a skit exhibiting that “being humble is more important than being wise.”
Talent of the Week
The students of Grade II B showcased the following talents:
Parvada K Bhooma, Adhya Loya and Naisha Mula sang the song “Roar” as a group. Nyla Siddiqui, Varenya Reddy and Aneesh Lakkireddy sang the song “What makes you Beautiful,” while Anandita Kurur sang a Bhajan about Lord Krishna.
The students of Grade I A showcased the following talents:
Divya Alluri performed a few stunts with her Hula-hoop. Krishna Kumar Gupta showed us how to make a house, cup and a peacock using Origami. Abhinav S. played “London Bridge is Falling Down” on the Keyboard, while Vishnu Srinivasan played “Are you Sleeping?” and Yuvir Sangtani played the Birthday song. Ashika Lod danced to a Hindi song.
Outbound Trips
The students of Grade I had an enriching experience at KBR Park, observing various plants.
Students of Grade III to V enjoyed the challenging yet fun trekking trip to the Ananthagiri Hills and Bhongir Fort. They walked all the way up to the top of the hill, and learnt more about the historical Fort.
 
Life Skills
The students of Primary learnt various skills to enable them to effectively deal with the demands and challenges of everyday life.
Children’s Day Celebrations
To commemorate the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, and to express love towards children, the teachers surprised the little ones by putting together an entertaining show through which they showcased their hidden talents.

Read with me Mom and Dad

Reading out loud to students opens up a world of imagination to them, and makes them love books. We thank the parents who take the time to read out to the students, making this a fruitful session week after week.

Points to note  
  • Please do not send your child to school wearing expensive jewellery/earrings to school.
    Please note that money for events/exams will not be collected by the teachers once the deadline has passed.
    Please ensure that students are punctual in their submission of homework assignments.
    Please ensure that the notebooks /textbooks of your child are neatly covered using brown paper.
  • Do ensure that your child is dressed to school as per the expected norms.
  • In case you wish to meet your child’s teacher, seek an appointment through your child’s diary, you can send a mail to the Headmistress, Primary at meenakshi@chirec.ac.in. Please note that it might not be possible for the teacher to call you during school hours due to the classes.
  • As part of school programme, we take a lot of pictures during assembly, activities, classes, competition etc. These pictures are put up by the school on its website or on school’s official publications. If you do not want your child’s picture to be put up, kindly send in a written note to the Section Incharge. In case we do not get any written communication, we will assume that you have no objection to our using your child's pictures.
