First Community Workshop of 2011 sponsored by GWC! February 2 marks World Wetlands Day. On this day GWC is holding our first watershed workshop of 2011.Everyone is invited to the FREE event! Come see Gallinas Creek from a whole watershed perspective. We’ll discuss: * How do upstream issues impact downstream and vice versa? * What is your vision for the watershed? * What issues are important? * Where can we have the most impact? Our goal is to raise public awareness about our wetlands and the environmental protection and restoration of our entire watershed. Date: Feb 2, 2011 Time: 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM Location: 800 Northgate Mall, Suite 250 Public Conference Room in Terra Linda Enter at food court (near the movie theater), turn right and take stairs to 2nd Floor.
