Anti-Colonial Music and Videos!

Check out these selections to get you motivated, excited and inspired to continue the fight and to come out and join the solidarity action tomorrow December 1st!

Prayers - "Mexica"  - With “Mexica,” Reyes and his partner embark on a search for identity, one that harkens all the way back to a burning Tenochtitlán in 1492 and lands them straight in Sherman Heights circa 2016. The video itself is meant to mirror Reyes’ spiritual trek, from a colonized mind to a more enlightened and empowered consciousness.

Askultura - 'In Water We Trust - Mni Wiconi (#noDAPL)' feat. Kuyayky & Pedro Erazo - GET SONG for 1$ SUPPORT THE SACRED STONE CAMP Standing Rock #noDAPL Water Protectors - ALL PROCEEDS ARE SENT TO THEM:

A Tribe Called Red - Burn Your Village To The Ground (Neon Natives Remix Video) - Featuring a sample from the film "Addams Family Values."  In it, Wednesday Addams (Christina Ricci) goes decidedly off script while portraying Pocahontas in a play about Thanksgiving.  She reminds a stunned audience about what really happened to America's indigenous population after the pilgrims arrived.

With 16 days left in our fall crowdfunding campaign we are 56% towards our goal, we're looking to raise $600 for our outreach tools and resources to further engage residents in the activities at the 610 Gifford St Garden (and to receive a $400 additional grant from SeedMoney if we reach our goal).  Click on the picture below to donate.
