Engagement and Payment times
The AICM is always focused on understanding how we can help members, this newsletter focuses on two areas of how we seek to do this.
1 - Improving payment times. We've included an article investigating the current trends with payment times and an announcement of an inquiry the AICM is driving to improve payment times.
2 - AICM Member Voice. To better understand the broad spectrum of the AICM membership, each monthly newsletter will seek your thoughts on a specific topic. The focus will be to quantify or gain a broad understanding of a specific issue. We'll keep the commitment to under 5 minutes with the option of longer free form feedback.

Payment times inquiry |
This month the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman and the AICM announced a inquiry into payment times.
The inquiry is aimed at improving times for small business for the benefit of the whole business community.
As part of this inquiry we will also be partnering with the state based small business commissioners and COBSOA.
We will be seeking specific responses from AICM members as this inquiry progresses and invite any general comments from members.

AICM Member Voice - Credit Landscape in 2017 |
AICM is regularly called upon by government and industry representatives to provide insights to assist policy settings that affect your day to day role in credit, such as insolvency laws and contracts legislation.
To ensure your insights, challenges and frustrations are represented each month we will provide a very short and targeted survey to quantify specific issues.
This month's survey focuses on what challenges credit professionals expect in 2017.
This 2 question survey will not require more than a few minutes of your time but will be vital to our ability to represent you in 2017.
