When I’m Anxiously Thinking Too Much

I’ve been pondering something lately.

I can get caught in a trap of worry, and it can feel impossible to escape. Unfortunately, this trap isn’t a physical trap, so I can’t physically get out. Worry is a trap that is totally within my own mind.

However, my physical body still reacts as if it’s all real.

Of course, we all know that most of the things we worry about don’t ever happen. I tend to get all spiritual and say I’m just “planning” or “pondering,” not “worrying.”  Read the rest of this article.

 

Fruit of the Ruach (Spirit)

This morning as I am studying the Torah portion and going through an adult study guide through a site http://www.HoshanaRabbah.org I came across a couple of Verses in Galatians 5:22-23 that I grew up memorizing as a child. Now I have a little bit of a different view from what I did as a child now that I am an adult and trying my best to walk out this walk with Abba the best I can as He leads me each step. Anyway…

As I was reading this I was reminded of a teaching I watched through MTOI (Messianic Torah Ovservant Israel) website: http://www.mtoi.org called-Understanding The Ruach. He was talking about the word Ruach meaning attitude of the heart as well as The Ruach. As I read this this morning I thought of the attitude part. I also thought of THE Ruach as well. But I want to focus on attitude of the heart for a minute. 

I want to go on to a personal trail here for this. As a mom, wife, daughter and a woman in general I struggle with my attitude (spirit). I long to have the right attitude in every area of my life. That’s my goal.  Read the rest of this article.
