In our final newsletter of 2016, I want to simply take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays -- however and wherever you plan to celebrate!
It has been an amazing year here in downtown Selah. We have seen much change over the past several months and are looking forward to all the good things that 2017 will bring.
Thank you to everyone who was involved with SDA in any way this year, and to all that attended are events. We truly appreciate your support!
Happy Holidays,
Whitney Stohr
Executive Director

Second Saturdays in Downtown Selah will return in 2017 with a new line-up of themes! Second Saturdays will run each month from February through November.
Business Owners: This is an opportunity to highlight your business each month by planning a special event, public activity, or promotional deal around the monthly theme. You plan the "happening," and SDA will promote it as part of a community-wide event.

Small Business Saturday
Saturday, November 26, 2016
SDA joined cities across the country in leading local efforts to promote Small Business Saturday, an annual day where people are encouraged to "Shop Small" at locally owned businesses. The day was officially recognized by Selah mayor Sherry Raymond as "Small Business Saturday" in a proclamation signed on Tuesday, November 22nd. This year, SDA was selected as a local, Small Business Saturday "Neighborhood Champion," and our executive director Whitney Stohr spent the day visiting all of our local shops in downtown Selah.
