LAST DAYS. Weston Frizzell presents Pop-ART Multimedia Supergroup Cardboard&Computers
The first major exhibition of new Weston Frizzell paintings since the massive BLOCKBUSTERS 2012. To consecrate the birth of the Cardboard and Computers project , Weston Frizzell present a Limited Edition art music package featuring 3 colour screenprint “BESTBITS”, and new single ‘TheBestOnes’ on 12” audiophile vinyl. NEXT WEEK. We are pleased to announce our last exhibition of the year is by Anna Crichton. Loaded with commentary from the highs and lows of 2016's current affairs there is something for everyone in this special show. All works are under $350 and there is even a selection of fine art prints for $20! Please note this show will not have an opening event. Come in for a coffee during our cafe open hours or check the show out on-line, from Monday 5th December.
Anna is the five-time winner of the New Zealand Canon Editorial Artist Award, her work has been published in The New York Times, The Wall St Journal, Time, The Australian and is seen regularly in The New Zealand Herald, Metro, and many other NZ Publications.
All her illustrations and cartoons are drawn with an old fashioned dip pen and archival German ink on English Waterford paper. Her work is collected by the Alexander Turnbull Cartoon Library and is held in many private and collections.
