Believe it or not the snow has been falling up here at Crabbe Mountain all last week! More snow is in the forecast over the next few days as we get closer to our first set of on snow events of the season.
This past weekend we held our annual open house and tasting event. It was great to see so many familiar faces with well over 200 people joining us for this awesome event. We hope everyone enjoyed some great new Fix toppings from the kitchen as well as some great drinks up in the Thirsty Boot Lounge. We also collected lots of donations for the food bank which we will be delivering this week.
We want to thank everyone who made the open house possible especially or food and beverage sponsors McCain Foods, Campbell's, Picaroons, Big Axe, Trafton Agencies, Amuarula, Greystone Brewing, Rails Car Brewing, and Gagetown Fruit Farm. Without their support we would not be able to have put on such a great event.
Hill Climb - December 10
Crabbe Mountain, in partnership with Torque Motorsports will host what will hopefully be the first on-snow race of the season!
Registration for racers starts at 9:00am followed by a mandatory safety briefing at 10:30. Registration is $20 per sled, per class. See Torque motor sports for details on race rules and regulations.
Races will get underway at 11:00 am and will continue on throughout the afternoon. Spectator viewing area will be set up along the course with an additional outdoor beer garden in front of the main lodge.
Spectators may purchase tickets for $15 per person.
Season Pass Holders and children under 10 are free!
