On Tuesday, Dec 13, the Eastern Christian Music Department will be hosting our Annual Barnes and Noble Bookfair Fundraiser. Come listen to the Middle School music ensembles perform at 6:30 and the High School ensembles at 7:30. A portion of all purchases will be donated to the music department.

INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM
  • Students visiting NYC on Saturday, Dec 3, need to be at the high school at 2:00PM. We will arrive back at the school for pick up at 10PM.
MATH CLUB
  • Math Club competes in the December AMSA math competition on Thursday, Dec 8th.
MAN UP & ANCHORED
  • Join our boys and girls discipleship groups, which meet weekly during SOAR. Sign up this week - all are welcome!
ART CLUB
  • For artists, and those who want to be - ECHS is on the hunt for creatives! ECHS students, along with Mrs Aceino and Mr Wright, have created a club for YOU to participate in. Projects and planned events associated with the visual arts are coming soon! See an art teacher for more info.

  • Prep classes are provided to ECHS students by BrainStorm Tutoring. Highly effective SAT and ACT prep classes are offered by the best tutoring center around. BrainStorm consistently raises SAT scores 300-400 points and ACT scores by 4-7 composite points. Class includes 18 hours of class instruction and 2 simulated tests, books, and materials. Registration closes one week prior to the start of each class.

  • Calvin College is accepting applications for their Entrada Scholars Program. The Entrada Scholars Program at Calvin College offers ethnic minority high school students a gateway to the future: the opportunity to experience college learning and living while earning college credit. Applications are accepted until Mar 3.
  • The American Musical and Dramatic Academy of NYC is offering a High School Summer Conservatory program for students interested in advancing their futures in the performing arts. Click Here for more info.

Saturday School is a program of Eastern Christian School. All students, both EC and non-EC are welcome to sign up for Saturday School classes. DRIVER'S ED - SPRING SESSION
  • Cost for the spring session is $125
  • Dates for the class are: Jan 28, Feb 4, 11, 25, Mar 4, 11, 18, 25, Apr 8, 15 (test day). Apr 22 will be a make-up day is any classes are canceled due to inclement weather.

T.R.I.P News

  • EXTENDED CHRISTMAS HOURS!
    • The T.R.I.P Store will be open from 8 until noon every Friday with the exception of Dec 23 & 30.
    • For the Christmas season, the T.R.I.P store will be open on Thursday evenings from 5-7pm on Dec 1, 8, 15, & 22.
  • Monday T.R.I.P orders will be accepted in any school office by 9am on Dec 5, 12 & 19.
  • The T.R.I.P Store is relocating! Effective Jan 6, 2017, the store will move to Eastern Christian Middle School on Sicomac Avenue in Wyckoff.
  • Barnes and Noble Night: Stock up on your gift cards for Eastern Christian's Barnes and Noble Night, to be held on Tuesday, Dec 13. Not only will this be beneficial for your T.R.I.P account, but EC will be getting a double bonus: Once for purchasing your gift card, and then through the proceeds of your sale! A portion of your purchase that night will be donated to Eastern Christian School.
  • Online Ordering: Interested in learning about ordering T.R.I.P online? If you would like help to enroll in ShopWithScrip, call the T.R.I.P office to set up your appointment. We will meet with you to set up your account and guide you through the ordering process. You can also go to the T.R.I.P Online webpage for instructions on how to sign up!
