Advent week 2: PEACE
Advent is the first season in the church calendar. Since the 7th century A.D., Christians have included this celebration in their preparation for Christmas Day. Prepare the way of the Lord serves as a main theme of this season. Advent encourages us to prepare for the celebration of the birth of Christ and it reminds us that we are also preparing for Jesus' return in glory.

This week's Advent theme, Peace, reminds us that the peace Jesus brings is internal and spiritual; in spite of the turbulence that exists in the world around us.

Children of Haiti

Please help bring a smile to many Haitian children by supporting, “A Soda for a Dollar Day!” Students may bring a soda or juice to drink at school on Friday, December 9^th. Don’t forget to pay a dollar to have a special drink at school! All proceeds will be donated to our Sister Parish, St. Anne’s. Thank you for your support.

Labels for Education
The Campbell Soup Company has announced  that its long-running Labels for Education Program will be coming to an end in August of 2017.
