Merry Christmakuh!

Welcome to the most wonderful time of the year, but, is it really? It kinda sucks because there are just too many things happening in a very short amount of time, but, here's how to show this month who is boss: YOU!

Do not overcommit to plans and make sure to hit the road prior to meltdowns. Never feel guilty for being the first family to exit. Trust me, everyone else wants to leave, too... so rip the band-aid and GO.

Schedule in downtime for the entire family. Your kids' brains are on overload with the decorations, the activities, the gingerbread decorating, not to mention all of the anticipation in the air, so plan at least 1 day a week for everyone to re-group at home to ensure holiday seasons survival.

Keep one list of all your to-do's and hire up, swap errands with mom friends, and definitely let it go if there's no way to make something happen. F IT. WHO CARES. NOBODY CARES. I DON'T CARE. WHY DO YOU CARE? STOP IT.

All you have to do is remember what's really important. It's not a perfectly decorated house at the expense of your staying up all night and being sick on the big day. It's focusing on being a happy, shiny mommy and nobody is rooting for you more than me to Keep It Together because I know you can!

Love, Eirene
