Mercer County District Library News

Holiday Hours

The Mercer County District Library in Celina, Marion, Mendon and St. Henry will close at 5 pm on December 13 for the Staff Christmas Party.

All locations will be closed on Saturday, December 24 for Christmas Eve and Monday, December 26 for Christmas (Observed).

The Libraries will also close at 12 noon on New Years Eve and be closed all day on January 2 for New Years Day (Observed).

The Library staff would like to wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season.

Polar Express Family Day

All aboard! Join the library on December 10 at 3 pm for the Polar Express Family Day. We will be making a snowman craft, reading the book Polar Express, and enjoying refreshments and hot cocoa. Registration is required by calling the library at 419-586-4442.

Marion (Chickasaw) Branch News

Special Family Night on December 20

On December 20, the library will be hosting it's regular Family Night, but this month a lot is in store. Jillian Liette will be reading her book Waiting for Christmas and will be signing books afterwards. There will be a special visit from Santa Claus during the event.

Mendon Branch News

Make & Take Craft

The Mendon-Union Branch Library will be hosting a Make & Take Christmas Craft during the month of December. Stop by the Library during regular hours and make a free Christmas tree ornament.

St. Henry Branch News

Welcome Keshia

Keshia Willmann joined the staff of the St. Henry-Granville Branch Library on October 31 as the Branch Manager. The St. Henry Promoters will be hosting a Open House for Keshia on December 1 from 6 to 8 pm. Cookies and refreshments will be provided.

Keshia would like to thank the community for making her feel welcomed.
