Hello dear friends of VIBE Arts,

Can you believe we are already going into the last month of the year?!?!

VIBE Arts in the News:  VIBE Arts was featured in The Toronto Observer in November about our community mural consultation conducted with fellow organizers East York Neighbourhood Initiatives, East End Arts and Councillor Mary Fragedakis (Ward 29/Toronto-Danforth). Our consultation was a success, as we are now partnering with the City of Toronto for the 2017 Cultural Hotspot program. Next steps are making the mural together at the East York Community Centre.

On November 15 VIBE Arts celebrated "Clash of the Canvases". Click here to read Monica's recap of the epic event along with photos!

As we move into the winter season, it is the perfect time to plan fun activities in your community to engage local youth and combat the cold – or get out and play in the snow! Read here all about Trevoy Williams DJing workshop for Playing for Keeps neighbourhood games initiative, and how you can get involved too!
150 Reasons Why We Love Canada is already underway at schools, libraries, community venues, and shelters. Your reasons shared at 150reasons.ca  will be used to inspire children and youth in their mural making. There is still time to share your Reasons!

Alannah shares with us about the incredible Junior League Peer-to-Peer Workshop held at the VIBE Arts office facilitated by members of our Youth Advisory Council (YAC). Click here to read all about it!
